planting?
When is the best time to do planting? Lawn seeding or landscape type things like planting shrubs?

Grass seed is definitely spring or fall, because the seeds need cooler temperatures to germinate properly.
For plants and shrubs, again spring and fall are the best but if you properly care for them and they're not "weak" plants, you could be planting now. But you have to baby them, make sure they don't dry out, have good nutrition, protect from prolonged afternoon sun if they're tender seedlings, etc.
