Plans ruined- now what to do for anniversary tomorrow?!
Yesterday was DH's and mine 4th anniversary.
As usual- we had full days of work followed by driving down from Newburgh to stay with family for the weekend. Needless to say we didnt celebrate.
We had plans to go into the city tomorrow while IL's watched DD- we wanted to go to Madame Tussauds and eat out. We knew it would be crowded but now I find out tix are sold out for tomorrow
Any ideas for a fun way to spend some time together?

Rent a hotel room, splurge on some awesome room service and stay in bed all day and all night! That's what my dream is right now with my hubby!

Madame Taussads is sold out? I dont see how thats possible...it is a walk-through exhibit. It takes about 20-30 min max to see the whole thing. I would go anyway!

I only tried to buy the cheaper advance tix online and that's what said sold out...thanks for the suggestion to try anyway. LOVE the room service idea but I don't know if there would be any rooms around with the holidays. Keep that in mind for V-day though

Skating at Rockefeller Center? Check out the Christmas windows and decorations?
If you love Chocolate you MUST go to Max Brenners - I think it's on Broadway south of 14th. The most decadant chocolate restaurant!!! Deserts, drinks, etc. to die for.

I will keep all of these in mind for when we are home for X-mas
DH and I ended up going to the local movie theater to see New Moon and then eating at Simply Fondue. It was one of the best dates in our 12 yr relationship!!!
We liked the movie and walked over to the restaurants- it was virtually empty! We were able to sit in one of the private cabanas- and it was decorated in dark colors and Italian renaissance theme- it felt like we were IN the Italy scenes of New Moon
Plus the food was so great- I'm so happy it worked out for the best! We can't wait to go back for our next date night
