'planning' for my children? any teachers plan their kids based on LOA?

crazy question i know. im a teacher and of course, dont have a lot of money. im thinking of having another baby and im wondering how many of you planned your kids around when or how long you could afford to stay out of work? for example...deliver in april, stay out the rest of the year and return in sept. etc.

With DS we started ttc in July because I wanted to be due by May. I wound up getting pregnant at the end of September and was due June 11th. I actually ended up having him in May due to complications. I stayed out the rest of the year and went back this September. This worked out well because I continued to get paid.
