Planning a day in NYC?
What are some fun things to do in NYC with a three year old? Are there any websites that list kid-friendly events?
Also, how much is LIRR fare for a child this age?
TIA

There is so much to do in Manhattan with little ones, we try to take the kids once every 3 months or so. Try mommypoppins.com, lots of ideas there. We have done Central Park, Bryant Park, Museum of Natural History, Battery Park, Children's Museum of Manhattan, Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square...

Transit museum is awesome! You can pair it with a visit to Brooklyn bridge park.
We usually just walk around the farmers market in union square, hit up paper presentation and books of wonder on w. 18 st., and / or the strand.
