Planes Cars & Cruise Ships.... WWYD?

We would like to go on vacation wih DD during the middle of August. She will be one year old be then.

Before even choosing as location, we are considering the pros and cons of driving, flying or cruising with a 1 year old.....


Any estions/advice?

depends how long is the travel? but i would choose flying over driving. DS gets frustrated being in his car seat over an hour.

We just took a cruise with the kids recently.

We took our car to JFK, left it there (solved that problem with carseats).

Took airplane. DD was a lap baby, DS had his own seat.

Transferred on a bus from the airport to the port.

While on the cruise we only went where we could walk, did not take taxi's or open air buses.

Did it in reverse on the way home.
