placenta previa??
So I just found out I have Placenta previa, this is #3 but never had it before. I was curious if anybody has it or did in a previous pregnancy? I was told if it doesnt move ill need a csection? My OB didnt seem to be concerned so I didnt ask many questions, now i wish I asked how common is it for it not to move.. anyone know? TIA!

placenta previa??
I had it with #2. Mine was complete previa, and it never moved. I had to have a csection, which I was bummed about because I had #1 vaginally, but other than that, I had no complications at all!
Some people have problems with bleeding and are put on bedrest, and my Dr. warned me of this, but it never happened to me.
Oh, I did also have to go on pelvic rest for part of the 2nd and the 3rd trimesters. HTH!

Re: placenta previa??
Yes! I had partial with #1 and again with this pregnancy
As the uterus grows and when the baby goes head down, it typically resolves itself- they gave me a statistic in the high 80s for resolving itself.
feel free to fm if you have any questions

Re: placenta previa??
Thanks guys! I like the 80% odds lol.. im a little over 13 weeks and she put me on pelvic bedrest till further notice. She was saying it tends to move later in pregnancy but what if it happens after my level II? Is this monitored by sono the entire time?
Im freaked out bc I imagine csection recovery is a lot harder than vaginal, and my DH wont be able to take a lot of time off, and we moved OOS so I have no family here. I guess there is no point in worrying bc what will be, will be! But thx again and hopefully I dont freak out again or ill probably FM u

I am 20 weeks and just found out mine is low, but not completely previa. I am just going to take it easy and hope it moves.

placenta previa??
I found out i had partial previa week 15. During my 20 week sono (which i had during the 21st week) i was told it is now complete. Docs say it will usually stretch (placentas dont actually move--which i didnt know!) by 28 weeks. My doc is going back to check it at 26 weeks. Im surprised you were put on pelvic rest at 13 weeks, that is early.
