placenta movement?
does it move from posterior to anterior? i was told i had a posterior placenta the whole time, and then i had a quick sono last week, and on it says placenta placement is anterior i thought it would just move higher or lower from the cervix? i can't call my dr. until monday, but just wondering..

Re: placenta movement?
not sure if it moves that much but i was told around the time i delivered that i had an anterior placenta. no one had ever told me that and i felt a ton of movement all pregnancy. im guessing it was always that way since i had accreta (where the placenta grows into the uterus making it hard to detach).

Re: placenta movement?
I was told that I have an anterior placenta and that was why I wasn't really feeling too much movement. At my last growth sono, I asked the tech if I still had an anterior placenta and she said that it doesn't move once it attaches....

Re: placenta movement?
I had an anterior.
I don't think it moves that much. But I know it moves upwards the deeper into pregnancy you get. That's what my dr's told me anyway.
