Pittsburgh

Going to Pittsburgh for a Steelers game in December. Staying Friday to Monday.

Can anyone recommed a hotel close to Heinz Field that has shuttle service??

We already looked into the Westin but, we are trying to find something less expensive.

Oh, lucky you! I don't have a recommendation for a hotel I will ask my BIL who lives there. While your there you must go to Primanti Brothers for a sandwich! And have some Iron City beer, too!

We went last year for a game and stayed at the Sheraton Station Square. There is a ferry boat that leaves from right behind the hotel that takes you right to the field. It's a huge boat with multiple bars and it is reasonably priced.

It was great!

The Station Square area has a lot of bars/restaurants right outside the hotel as well - it's a cute area.

PS - You will have such a good time - it's a great city to watch a football game in! The fans were really nice (even though we were rooting for the other team - the Giants).

Re: Pittsburgh

Have fun!!!!!!!!! Years ago, there was the "Westin William Penn Hotel" that was really fancy & nice. I am not sure if that is still a Westin, though. From online it looks like now there is an "Omni William Penn Hotel." I went to school in Pittsburgh and now I am eager to take my husband there! The fans in Pittsburgh are incredible. I did not even know what tailgating was until I lived there!
