How about going to a shelter. There are so many pit pups who will be put down and never get a chance. Mine would have been out down at 4 months old if it wasn't for little shelter taking him from the other shelter.

I HAVE TRIED! i did rescue all of mine. she wants to know the true history of the dog. she is worried that the dog she picks she would not know the 'real' history of why the dog was there in the first place. so i told her i would ask here because if she was to go this way i want to make sure she does not use a BYB.

Try this website. This is how we found our ST/ Bernard. They list all breeds and you can break it up by state etc.
