Do you HAVE to switch sides each day?

Re: PIO question
I did...it was nice to give each side a "break" for a day and give it a chance to heal a bit before getting another shot.

Re: PIO question
I don't know if you MUST switch sides but it makes sense just from a practical standpoint so you can allow each side to heal a little. I get really itchy from pio. Good luck!! I know its not fun.

Re: PIO question
Thanks girls! I'm askng because one side hurts like hell and had knots and the other side is not as bad. This happens to me every time!
So I'm wondering if I can do 2 nights right side, one night left ...

Re: PIO question
i dont think you HAVE to. i had irritation on one side so for a few days i only did the injects on the otherside. i think its more for your comfort than for the meds.

Re: PIO question
I was told that if you have 'knots' or nodules the size of a golf ball or even bigger like the size of an egg (like I did!) do not inject in that size.
So, its ok to use the same side!
They suck, have fun!

ITA. The nurse told me to do on whatever side didn't hurt that night and don't worry about alternating.

Yikes, this sounds awful!! Thankfully I haven't gotten that yet.. but I do have clusters of little bumps that feel like 6 or 7 mosquito bites right near each other.
I seriously walk around in public looking for ways to slyly scratch my a$$ without anyone noticing!!
