PIO pointers
I have been using vaginal suppositories for my FET but my doc wants me to do both tonight. Does anyone have any pointers? I only needed to do the shots one or two nights after my retrieval several months ago b/c I hyperstimulated and needed to freeze all embryos. Thanks!

I bent over the bathroom sink and pointed the knee inwards on the side that was being injected...DH used a dart like motion while spreading the skin taut ( very important !) Pull back Slowly inject and massage the area adfterwards ( I only had DH do it for a minute, some people do more)...I have never used a heating pad but some do...
Good Luck ( its honestly not as bad as it looks  )

Thanks! Shots are no big deal any more unfortunately but I usually do them myself. These obviously you need a helper:)

I do know some girls have done them themselves , but I don't trust myself 
I think I've done a total of 25 weeks worth of PIO for my cycles, do DH is now the PIO pro unfortunately

I believe you said you did an FET. What type of progesterone did you use? Believe it or not, I thought the shot was better than the endometrium which is so gross.

Sesame oil both for my fresh and frozen cycles

I would bruise really bad unless I sat on heating ad first, I found it helped the PIO go in easier too
