Re: PIO help
you draw it with the 18 1/2 gage and you administer it with the 22 gage.. You are definately going to be sore and have lumps.. No getting around it.. I dont even bother to massage the lumps anymore.. I am getting used to this . human pin cusion

Re: PIO help
i only have 22 gauge needles. my pharmacy never gave me 18 gauge needles; just a HUGE baggie filled with 22's.
the needle says: 3 ml 22 g 1 1/2

I didn't have the 18 either. You can draw it up and administer with the 22 1 1/2. That's what I did. GL!

Re: PIO help
It's easier if you draw up with one needle and then change it. Even if they are both the same size 22g. Because the one you draw up with gets all oily on the outside and it will go in better if its a clean needle.

Re: PIO help
You can use the 22 1/2 to draw up and inject. It's just that the 18 is thinner and easier/less painful to stick in your butt.
Please! I've been doing the progesterone for over a week now. My butt is bruised, lumpy and sore. The heating pad helps. Oh my nurse said that if you don't need the ice the numb you than don't use it. The ice causes the oil to clot and can cause those lumps.
