Pineapple anyone?
So my due date is friday the 22nd, this is my second child ... my first DS came a week early. this pregnancy I have been so active working up until last week in a restaurant on my feet my whole pregnancy .. I have been cleaning like crazy .. sitting on my yoga ball, going shopping to walk around, giving my dogs baths, laundry, cooking/eating spicey foods the past couple days and nothing at today's doctor visit ... the head is engaged but im still not dilated.
Im just so uncomfortable and the past 2 days my ankles and feet have swell up so much that it hurts if I walk too long now... so after all this complaining my question is has anyone ate fresh pineapple to induce their labor and did it work? because Im loosing my mind.

I was just talking to my friend about this over the weekend!!!! She said that she ate pineapple everyday starting at 37 weeks. She ended up being 11 days early!

Pineapple anyone?
I have been eating pineapple non-stop, I've craved it the entire pregnany... I'm 40w1d and nothing!!! Maybe it'll work for you! Good luck!

Yep, i did anything and everything going on 42 weeks- including eat a whole pineapple in 1 sitting. Nothing worked. Only thing I suspected *may have* worked is nipple stimulation, you have to do it ALOT, super irritating but it def causes contractions and my water broke that day.

Pineapple anyone?
It would give me contractions but they never lasted lol . I tried everything and that was the only thing that kind of worked. I was still 11 days late though......

Yes I tried it and it did not work lol. I also tried eggplant which is supposed to be another natural inducer! (Oh and everything else you listed I tried too…I was 2cm dilated for 2 weeks…nothing worked!)

I have to admit i did the nipple stimulation thing too with DS  - while i did have to do it for about a half hour each nipple (yup) I researched it a bit and it said half hour to 40 min each nipple, simulating breast feeding. I went into labor that night a little more than a week early. So I think it works.
