"pimple" on toddler's face
My 1 y/o has a small whitehead looking pimple on her face above her lip. Does anyone know what this could be? It's been there for a couple of weeks now. I'd hate to take her to the doctor if she is otherwise feeling OK.

If it has been there a couple of weeks, it could be a tiny cyst. My son has one on his bottom lip right where the lip and upper chin area meet.
I asked both his dentist and his pediatrician about it and they said as long as it stays the same size and doesn't cause any discomfort, it is harmless.

Its prob milia. I get them on my face too. Nothing to worry about and they go away. My son has 2 on his cheek.

At a few weeks, I'd call the doctor & ask if you should see a dermatologist.
Could be nothing, could be an infection.
