Re: piercing ears ??
Hayley cried for a few seconds, we gave her the pacifier and she calmed down instantly. That was it!!! I cleaned them with the solution they gave me when I changed her diaper. I think I had to do it 2 times a day? Hayley was 5 months old.
eta: They did both ears at the same time. I went to the booth outside of Build a Bear in Smithaven Mall. I was with my friend when she got her DD's done. They did 1 at a time and she screamed!!!! Don't recommend that way.

Re: piercing ears ??
lauren cried while they started to mark her ears and then while it wa being done ( think just bc she had no clue why everyone was around her).once it was done, she cried for not even a minute and then she was all happy looking around..she still has no clue that they are in lol
eta - it is really easy to take care of the earrings and she lets me w/out a problem..she was i think 9 weeks when we got them done

Re: piercing ears ??
Ella cried when they were marking her ears - that was the hardest part. Then the Dr. numbed her ears. She cried for a second when they actually pierced them. It was easy to take care of, we just had to put bacitracin on 2x's a day for 3 days and turn them everyday.

Re: piercing ears ??
DD got hers done at the ped's office on the same day as she got her 3 month shots (I know, I'm a mean mommy!). She cried for 30 seconds maybe...I fed her a bottle while they did them. To clean them...I got alcohol swaps and q-tips. I put some neosporin on the q-tips and cleaned them with the swabs 2x a day.
Now that she is older (10.5 months), it's more challenging to get her to stay still so I can take out the earrings and put in new ones. Sometimes I have DH try ti distract her while I do it.

Re: piercing ears ??
DD cried for a tad...I stuck a bottle in after she was done.
She was actually really good, better than I thought she would be.

Re: piercing ears ??
Yes, Julia did cry but only for a few seconds, all I had to do was walk her around the store and show her things to get her mind off it and she stopped.
She was 3 months when we got them done!
I had to clean them with a q-tip and alcohol 3 times a day for a few weeks.
Never had any problems with them.

Re: piercing ears ??
Kaitee got them done the same day she got her shots done. So she was already grumpy. She cried for less than a minute. They did it one ear at a time and she didn't start to cry untill they did the second ear. She never seemed to notice when I cleaned them so I am assumeing they never bugged her.

the place I went WOULD NOT do both at the same time, no sure why. I wish they would have, it would have been much better for DD I think
