Picky 16 month old
What are you feeding your child? I need some new ideas. How do you handle a picky eater? TIA

Re: Picky 16 month old
DS is 15 months and picky
our go tos
Breakfast - Mini pancakes mini waffles motts naturals (no sugar added) applesauce fresh fruit raisins cheerios kix on occasion - eggs scrambled toast bagel
Lunch - Yogurt Cheese
Snack - Goldfish fresh fruit cheerios pita/hummus (sometimes he will take it, sometimes not) organic cereal bars (like nutragrain) jammy sammy's (found at Wild by Nature) veggie stix (the puff things, not actually veggies)
Dinner - Organic chicken or turkey dogs Broccoli or sweet potato pancakes Fresh fruit meatball tortalinni or ravioli (but i have to cut off the extra pasta parts, he will only eat the cheese filled part) PIZZA (loves pizza) grilled cheese
my go to and I am so thankful for these - Ella's Kitchen and Plum Organics squeeze pouches. The fruits and veggies. DS loves them and its the only real way I can get veggies into him! He has at least 1 per day. Sometimes lunch, sometimes dinner.

Re: Picky 16 month old
Mostly the same as above....
DD LOVES eggs- for breakfast/lunch & dinner- I scramble with a little cheese and try to add some veggies.
She also looves Chicken nuggets.
Pasta with butter or garlic & oil and I try to add veggies in there.
She eats LOTS of fruit...veggies are hit or miss..I get them in when I can..I'm not too concerned. I find if I make them with butter -she's more likely to eat them- especially peas & carrots. She'll pick cucmbers out of our salads. Loves sweet potatoes. I let her try almost everything we eat and if she likes it, I add it in to her rotation.
She also likes those all natural pot pies- i think the brand is Amys?

DD can be picky too, and lately for snack or lunches on the go she LOVES those squeeze pouch things. We get them from either Trader Joe's or Target (the Happy Tot brand from Target)...The combinations sound gross (beets, banana and apple?) but she LOVES being so "independent" with them! And hey-they are organic and she's getting more fruits and veggies this way too.

Re: Picky 16 month old
DS was such a good eater, and sometime around 15m, it all changed.
homeade muffins (I add tons of shreded veggies to them) yogurt tons of fruit eggs with veggies cooked in them, covered in cheese sometimes I put it into a Quesadilla meatballs (always hide a veggie or two in there) chicken any kind works for him

We use the pouches from Plum Organics all the time. Especially if he decides to refuse anything I try to give him.
