Photoshop Moms - Bday Invite Related

DD is having a Disney Princess party for her 3rd birthday. I had looked at several invitations awhile back and found a few I'd like to try and duplicate. I was able to find clip art with several of the princess but cannot figure out how to do the background on this invitation. Also does anyone recognize the font used?

1) Click on the Gradient tool.

2) When the tool is selected, the Gradient options appear on the Options Bar., here is where you pick your gradient style


3) Pick you colors, from the color bar in the gradient options. make sure you have the gradient tool selected or you wont see the right options. Select the colors you want.

4) Indicate which layer you want. In the Layers palette, select the layer on which you want to paint.


5)Using the selection tools, select the area of the layer you want to fill.


6) Then you draw the gradient by Draw the pointing w/ the mouse to where you want the blending to begin , then drag the mouse to where you want to stop the blending. The area you selected in step 5 will fill with the gradient. The center point is always the left-most color on the color bar, the end point is always the right-most color on the color bar, and the gradient is drawn in between.

The closest that comes to it that I have is Passion Conflict but it's not that one.

I believe the font starts with an S we just used something similar to this at work. Let me see if I could find it.

I think the font is called Monterey.
