Photographers for maternity/newborn.
I'm trying to book a maternity and newborn shoot. I'm finding it really hard to get in touch with photographers. Did any of you have the same issue? What did you end up doing?

I just worked with Lori from Ava Jack photography (she's a Li families vendor) and she was AMAZING!!! Great to work with for maternity...you can find her on here if you search the vendors.
I highly recommend her and she gets back to you promptly!

I didn't have a hard time, just a hard time with the prices.
I did only contact two photographers and they aren't that well known on this site... yet.

Just go to their websites and send them an email. I haven't had any trouble having photographers get back to me.

I booked with Christine Melissa Photography. I actually contacted her on facebook and we went over all the details on there. Plus, I would rather give my money to a LIW girl that I have spoken to for years already than someone I dont know

I'm going with Christine Melissa photography....she was really nice on the phone and rresponded quickly to my email......she is only $350 for the shoot and 30 pic's on a CD......she was the best price and I am glad I will get the pic's on the CD so i can do what i want with them!!!!

I havent booked a photog yet for newborn photos but we are looking into Michelle Mcfadden. shes a vendor on lifamilies. I really like her work and she got back to me within a few days of me e-mailing her from her website

I booked with Ava Jack for both. Her prices are reasonable and form the work i have seen i from ladies on here, I loved it. However, she got back to me very promtply so i did not really contact anyone else. Sadly i had to cancell my maternity shoot because i am now on bedrest but i am still using her for the twins newborn shoot.

I had a hard time getting answers from one Photographer on this site. She wouldn't answer any of my questions. She kept referring me to her website. What a turn off.
I am using Maria from lexi-Bella. Quick responses and very nice. Great pricing too!!

I'm using Lori too. She was very quick to respond.
I've also found Sandra from September Blue very quick to respond, and from what I hear, she is fantastic as well.

Michelle McFadden is coming to take DD's pics saturday! She has been so easy to communicate with, she responds very quickly.

I used Shira for DD newborn shoot. She get back to me within a day through email for her prices. She charges $200 for the shoot and $75.00 for the high res. CD. I love DD pics and felt that she was overall has the best price and we just love her newborn pics. I booked her for DD 3, 6, 9 & 1 year shoot (can you tell I am obess).
