Photo sessions?
I have a cake smash session for my sons 1st birthday.
The girl works from her home (studio and props) and this is her job along with being a mommy
Do you pay the given price, and add a tip? or no?
Just want to do the right thing as we may use her again if the photographs come out well

I had a newborn session and the photog worked out of her home, she owns the company, and I just paid the fee she charged me. So, no tip.

If this is her own company then I do not think a tip is necessary. The photographer that I use works for a studio so I do tip him since he is not getting everything that I pay!

I tipped. She was awesome. I also don't believe the whole - if it's their business, don't tip, thing.
