Phone locations PSA
I meant to share this last week when it happened... my cousin was over and her daughter choked. Everything turned out okay in the end, but right before the piece was dislodged, my cousin screamed out for someone to call 911. none of my house phones were on their bases (laying around on couches, tables), and in the panic, no one could clearly think where their cell phones were. We could not find a phone.
Since then, I've been making it a point to put my house phones back on their bases and to try to leave my cell phone in one specific location. We have a base right near our kitchen table.
Just thought I'd share because it was a scary moment and minutes mean the world.

Re: Phone locations PSA
Wow how scary. Glad she is ok! Choking scares the living shitt out of me.
It's also something I never thought of in that respect. I find I am ALWAYS running around my house looking for the handset of the cordless phones. I'm always annoyed and frustrated but in this case it's a lot more serious issue.
Thanks for the reminder- I never really thought of it that way!

Glad your cousin's daughter is okay - I am terrified of choking! I am regimental about keeping the landline phones on their bases but its a great PSA.
