Any suggestions for a hotel in Philadelphia? We are planning to go to the Please Touch Museum & the Zoo but it doesnt look like there are any hotels that are walking distance. So since we will have to drive anyway, what is a good hotel or location to stay? Would prefer to be somewhere close to restaurants/sights that we can walk to.
TIA!

I usually just look for deals and stay where it's cheapest. You have to drive to the place anyway!

BTW, bring your AAA card if you have one: will save you $4 per ticket. That place is expensive! But soooo worth it!!

Yes, we wanted to do the zoo and the museum though so figured make it a nice getaway and stay over night. Chat Icon

We are staying at the Best Western in the upcoming weeks because it is so close to the restaurants and the historic section. I can tell you about it when we come back. We have also stayed at a Double Tree which was great! It was close to Reading Terminal Market and the rooms were really nice. My kids loved the Please Touch Museum. They are pretty good about leaving places when we have to but my three year old had a full blown crying fit when it was time to go.
