Pets ( flea products) and kids

anyone have info?

I need to get them done on my dog. I usually use Frontline but my Vet said not to with a one yr old in the house who holds the dog.

What do you all use?

We use Frontline -- DH puts it on after Ale goes to bed. But he's too big for her to hug anyway so that isn't an issue. I just try to keep her away from his neck area esp. for a day or two.

I HAVE to use this as he is always at the park, in the woods, in the water, etc. and has to have something proven effective, KWIM? My previous dog got Lyme's disease so I am very strict about it now.

No the issue with frontline is it seeps into the entire body and absorbs into the skin so anywhere he touchs on her skin could have it on it ( as was told by my Vet) curious to see if others said this as well.

I use K9 Advantix

Bella doesn't really touch the dog...so I just keep an eye on them for a few days until it's all absorbed.
