Petro Oil "codes"
DH and I are shopping around for oil. Petro sent us a letter that told us to mention "Code 40", which we did and the deal seems pretty good. The lady on the phone told us that anyone that mentions code 40 or 37 gets good deals. Does anyone know what code 37 is? I want to know if it will get us a better deal or the same deal!

Re: Petro Oil "codes"
$3.61 cap with a $100 credit (basically makes the service contract free) and a free digital thermostat (not that we need it). code 40 meant you were a former customer (we were).
romanelli was giving us a $3.49 cap but we had to pay $125 for the contract. when we calculated our oil usage estimate, the petro deal was better, even though the price was higher, due to the $100 credit.

I wish I called when I first saw this post. The price is now 3.88 as a ceiling.
