How long does a bank take to give out a personal loan? Days? weeks? TIA

Wondered if you could tell me the most amount of money you loan people. I would LOVE to pay off my mortgage and other bills and didn't know if banks loan large amounts of money like that (under $200,000).

In my bank, if you have A or A+ credit, you don't have to show proof of income and they can disburse it right there and put it into your account

The most in personal loans would be $20,000. If you wanted to do more it would have to be a Home Equity loan and would take about 2 weeks.
