Period-like cramping in 3rd tri?
Did/does anyone experience this? I've had it on and off for about a week now. I just had my 34-week sono yesterday and everything looked normal. The cramping is very low so I'm thinking it might be the baby starting to drop, but with 6 more weeks to go I don't know if the timing is right.

Yes! I have had this going on for a few days. I'm 35.5 weeks. I was checked yesterday and I'm 1cm/50% effaced. Really doesn't mean 'Labor' but it's the start of a long process. I can stay like this for weeks. Your body is just getting ready to have your bundle!

More every week. I'm 35 weeks today.
It lasts longer each time, too- and is starting to make me nauscious.

Wow! This is so exciting. Even though it can go on for several weeks, I can't believe the process is starting!

I think they are mild contractions (I get them too). It's your body getting ready!
