pepcid vs zantac
I have been taking pepcid and tums and I really feel its not helping very much. Is zantac strong and is it safe to take. I am so uncomfortable.

my doctor says zzantac is safe, but i'd check with yours to see which dosage, because that's up for debate.

Check with your dr. I've heard zantac is safe but my dr didn't want me taking it. She OKed tums, pepcid and prilosec in an emergency.

pepcid vs zantac
I was on zantac 75 and it wasn't doing enough so now I take a zantac 150. They actually said I could take it 2x a day, but I just suffer during the daytime hours and take it at night so I can sorta sleep a little. If a baby has bad reflux, they give the baby zantac. That's why I'm ok with taking it too (also because my OB said it was safe). I've never taken a pepcid in my life. Tums do nothing. The reflux is so bad at this point that it burns my throat.

I have taken Zantac for all three pregnancies with no issues. This has been the worst though, so I am taking it twice a day - for the first two I only needed it once a day and that was enough.
150 all three times. With tums in between.

I didn't like zantac but OB actually told me pepcid 20mg twice daily would be totally okay, maybe take some more pepcid?
