Did they negotiate with closing costs?

We refinanced yesterday with Chase. They contacted us about refinancing. The closing costs were about half of what they were the first time (3 years ago). We are going to continue paying the old mortgage payment this way our mortgage will be paid off faster. We will be saving about $150,000 overall.

We refinanced yesterday with Chase. They contacted us about refinancing. The closing costs were about half of what they were the first time (3 years ago). Your closing costs were half because you went with the same lender so you didnt have to pay the mortgage transfer tax. The same with us but we went with BofA.
I'm not sure they can negotiated closing costs.
