People who check their receipts...
...two feet from the supermarket cashier after they pay. It's like a minefield navigating past all the people who have to make sure they got their 30 cents off their frozen peas! UGGGGHHH...It came off...now MOVE! That SUCKS.

sorry, don;t see how this sucks, with the economy like it is, every penny counts Plus, many times there are ring up errors, I think I have probably saved quite a bit of money over my lifetime due to checking receipts. Not suck worthy by any means IMO

It sucks that they HAVE to check the receipt where everyone is trying to walk!! Move away...go outside even. And if there is something wrong, go back in!

Also....I thought once you leave the store you can not collect the difference on the receipt.

I've forgotten to use my stop and shop card and coupons a few times when I am at the self-check out line, and have gone home. Realized it then and just go back with my receipt and they just give me the difference in cash.
I used to work in a Pathmark years ago, and we would do the same thing even if it was a day or 2 later. The only thing we wouldn't do is take someone's word if they said "but the sign was there...."

I have no problems with the idea of people checking their receipts. But I agree with the poster. Get out of the way and check the receipt--don't block the register aisle or the walkway. How hard is it to step aside?
