people touching your belly
as your pregnancy progresses and you begin to show sometimes you get people wanting to rub your belly!. I personally don't mind if its family or close friends but I think I would flip out if some stranger comes and touches my belly 
how do you all feel about this?

If a stranger tried to touch my belly I think I would yell stranger danger and run away.
I do NOT like being touched by people I don't know. I barely like being touched by people I DO know.

Big fat NO! The only people that touch my belly are DS and DH. I think my mom did a couple of times but no one else.
Strangers- I would be mortified! When I was PG the first time some stranger touched my belly and I was stunned. I didn't know what to do/say so I just walked away.

DH aunt touched my belly a few weeks ago and there wasn't much to touch which was awkward. Not sure how I will feel when I actually have a big belly.

It doesn't bother me when people I know touch my belly. I've never had a stranger touch my belly, but I'm ready if they ever do. I'm going to touch theirs.

I dont mind when people touch my belly .. as long as I know them.. although someone we know one time wanted to feel the baby and she practically shook my belly as hard as possible saying come on baby move, LOL... I was scared at first but then I realized there is so much padding in there so not to worry :)

It doesn't bother me that much with people that I know. Sometimes I touch their belly back if I know them well enough and I'm just in the mood that I'm tired of it.
If a stranger touched my belly I might get arrested for assault!

I'm weird and enjoy my friends and family touching my belly. The only time I got weirded out is when my mil's friend did it who've I've only met 2x.
My shower yesterday I did feel like one of those wish lamps bc everyone rubbed.

I've actually only had 1 person do this so far (although I'm barely showing). It was a coworker but I've known him for 10 years so it wasn't that big of a deal to me.
A stranger.. no way.

Ok some of these responses are hilarious
I had a few ... My one friend who just saw me for the first time since I got pregnant, was sort of obsessed with touching my belly I didn't mind ..
but, I was out for dinner with my dh about a week ago and the WAITRESS comes over and starts touching my belly  Ummmm yeah no thank you!! Then she started commenting on the shape!
I didn't wanna be rude so I smiled and brushed it off but I think I gave my dh the look of death when she walked away.

Definitely an invasion of space. I never had the desire to touch a pregnant person's belly- unless its someone I'm close to and the baby is kicking or something.... I just don't get why people want to touch it!

Strangers no, family and friends yes. I think it's cute and for me it's a sign of affection to the baby. I know. It's weird when I'm only 10 weeks but my mom and sister have done it and it makes me smile

This is one of the reasons I'm glad I'm late to show.... I have been able to avoid it so far because no one can tell I'm pregnant yet.... but I'm not sure how I'll feel about it.... if it's somebody I like, I might not mind a quick touch... but I don't like random people touching me.

I would not be ok with a stranger touching the belly. That being said, I went to a new eye place recently and was very chatty with 2 of the ladies that work there. One of them kind of nipped my belly in a cute way and was talking to the baby, like hello in there. It was actually very cute and I surprisingly didn't mind.
The bump gets constant love from DH and my mom. Now more so that I'm bigger and starting to show more. I would be ok with friends and family touching too, definitely with some more than others!

No way! I don't put off the happy pregnant vibe of touch my belly. I give the look of death if someone gets too close. I had a weird incident at Dunkin the other day and almost flipped out on a girl who was clearly staring at me and kept getting closer. Once I realized she had developmental issues, I knew she was harmless. Even without being pregnant I seem to be a magnet to strange people so I have learned to give the "back off vibe". There are some insane people out there.
