People are annoying!
Already today at work, I have gotten the following comments:
1. "I feel like you got bigger overnight. When's your due date again?"
2. While looking pointedly at my stomach: "When are you due?" Me: June 14th Her: Gives a skeptical look, "maybe not." Me: I think it depends on the shirt. Some days I get told I look big, other days I get told how nicely I'm carrying. Her: "Well in that shirt..." Me: "Maybe I can blame the pasta I ate last night?" (At this point, I'm just trying to be funny and not show how much she's pissing me off). A few more exchanges about pasta, Passover, etc...then: Her: Well, you are carrying nicely.
(coworker leaves) Secretary in the office: As opposed to what?

I am now a firm believer that any pregnant woman, who has no previous history of mental illness, should by law be allowed to carry and use, at her own free will, a taser.
It should just be a known fact that should you chose to approach a preggo about any topic, you are running the risk of being tased.

Re: People are annoying!
Ew! Don't people know about pregnancy hormones and how pissing a pregnant woman off can be like poking an angry bear with a stick!
When she said "maybe not" I probably would have said, "I think my Dr with all his years of experience knows better than you".

Re: People are annoying!
Sometimes pregnancy hormones get the best of me and I say something like "wow...pregnant women just LOVE when people tell them how big they look. Thankkksss" (with a little smile and slight eye roll- just enough to hopefully make them think twice about saying stuff like that again)

Maybe that's what it will take for certain coworkers of mine to STFU!!!
Yesterday, a different coworker yelled from her office as I was walking by, "How are you feeling? Big?!" My supervisor, from the office next door, sarcastically yelled, "No, she's smaller today!" He had picked up on how much that particular coworker comments on my size....every.single.day.

Ugh! My coworkers are already constantly commenting on my eating (no one knows I'm pregnant yet). I'm already anticipating tons of annoying comments about how big I'll be. I think I will mock-tase people w/my finger to avoid making nasty comments back. Lol!
