It is just the recommended list, the finalized list won't be out until the fall and even at that point between the closes and realignments it could take up to 6 years.
This doesn't just happen overnight like in corporate America and sometimes bases that are supposed to close don't.
For example last March I lived on NAS Corpus Christi and that was on the Brac in the 80's.
