I want to love the dress. I love the gauze, the color and the sparkle, but I feel like something in the execution is not perfect. Maybe it is the striping, I am not sure.

I feel like the dress looks like a cross between a Barbie doll princess in the box (the way it's positioned) and something a girl would wear for her sweet 16.

I agree. I think it's the striping. If the sparkle had more of an "ombre" effect (really heavy at the top tapering to just a sprinkle on the skirt) I would love it.
