Peg Perego- Skate

Does anyone have/register for this stroller, and what are your feelings about it?

i think I am getting that one as well. I really liked it and heard that the 2009 version is going to be lighter that the 2008. I was torn between the Bugaboo and the Skate and wound up going with Skate bc it folds in one piece rather than 2 like the Bugaboo. But that is JMO.

I would love to hear too if anyone else has experience with it.

GO into a store and try it out. I didn't like it. I thought it was way to heavy, and the seat was wobbily. I also didn't like the handle bar on it, it had to much "play". We decided on the Bugaboo Chameleon. I had no problems breaking it downa dn putting it back together fairly quickly. I think I had a harder time with my sisters "Graco"

You really need to try out strollers. Pick them up break them down, push them etc. Also, have DH there trying it and see if you can get the push bar ata comfortable height for him as well.

i LOVED it online, wasnt crazy about it instore. I may still go that route tho

i registered for it. I actually really like it. Yes its heavy but that didnt bother me as much b/c I dont live in the city....to me I was willing to suck up the weight issue in exchange for how easy it was to push. I did email Peg perego and they told me although there were rumors the 2009 would have a changed basket and lighter design, it was not produced and the 2008 model is still being produced for 2009. I was a stroller maniac looking at EVERY thing and every review online on strollers but decided the Skate was perfect for what i wanted.
