Pediatricians in Massapequa area

Hi! Can anyone recommend a great pediatrician in the Massapequa area?

I am due in April with my first child. We just moved to Massapequa from Queens.

I'm delivering at LIJ, so I guess it would be a plus if they pediatrician was affiliated with them. Does anyone know if the doctor has to be affiliated with hospital you are delivering at in order for them to examine the baby before he comes home?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am from Massapequa too but my pediatrician is in Plainview Dr Morris Rabinowicz I LOVE him! I checked out a lot of Drs before I picked him! There is a Dr I know of in Amityville I interviewed her too Dr Patricia Ford. As I understand it the Dr you pick if they have hospital priv. they examine in hospital if not you visit them right after you leave.
