Pediatricians in Massapequa area

Hi! Can anyone recommend a great pediatrician in the Massapequa area?

I am due in April with my first child. We just moved to Massapequa from Queens.

I'm delivering at LIJ, so I guess it would be a plus if they pediatrician was affiliated with them. Does anyone know if the doctor has to be affiliated with hospital you are delivering at in order for them to examine the baby before he comes home?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am going to be using Seaford Pediatrics... its right next to Massapequa... they have some great doctors!!
I too am delivering at LIJ... the dr's at Seaford arent affiliated there though, but according to my OBGYN it doesnt matter... any pediatrician at the hospital can examine the baby and then you just bring the baby to whoever is going to be your pediatrician within the next week.
