Pediatrician Recommendation
Please recommend your pediatrician around the Oakdale area. I LOOOOOVED Dr. Eisenberg... Not so crazy about the new doc

I thought there was no doctor there at this time?
I can't recommend someone because I hated Eisenberg, so we clearly differ on this opinion, but you're probably going to have to travel a bit for a GOOD doctor.
A lot of people went to an office in west islip where Dr Verrier, who was in West Sayville, is at now.

Wait... The Dr. Hinestoza isn't even there anymore?? I haven't been there since Dec. and would barely even see him when my DD was sick...

Pediatrician Recommendation
We go there too. Although I love Nicole the PA I do not feel comfortable that there is no dr there. When I balled last week to make my sons 3 yr check up I asked about a dr and they said that a new dr has been chisen and they are just waiting fir all his credentials to go through. I spoke to my husband about switching and he felt like since we bring the kids to pm pediatrics every time they are sick there really is no worry over them not having a dr right now. Not sure if I feel the same way. If any of you find a great dr please share. I would love to find something really close to my house (Islup)

Pediatrician Recommendation
I don't know if this is too far but I just switched to Peds First in Medford. I have seen Joann, the NP and she was the reason we switched. Dr. Ipe (spelling??) Also the kids call him Dr Jay, so nice and I was comfortable with him.

I agree with needing to travel a bit. We go to Dr. Mariwalla in West Islip and love all the drs there. I have friends who love Peds First in Medford, Dr. Halegua(sp), in particular.

No because we rarely go there. Dd is rarely sick and when she is Nicole the NP is more than fine for a strep test or whatever. There's also PM peds.
Her well visit isn't until August so by then i am sure they will have a new MD.
I am not picky with doctors as i use them so infrequently.

Thank u everyone!! I'm thinking of hanging around to see who the new doc is and if we like them or not. NervousNell, you're right... We go less now also since dd just needs to go for yearly checkups.

We go to Suffolk Pediatrics in West Islip (Dr. Woletsky and Dr. Zanolin) and love the practice. But if you're looking for something closer, we have several friends that go to RBK Pediatrics on Montauk Hwy (where King Kullen was but now it's Northwell Health imaging center) and are very happy there.

Yeah I'm just going to see who they get. The new doctor could be awesome for all I know.
