pediatrician question
i think i chose a pediatrician ... do i need to call him before Baby is born and tell him that he'll soon have a new patient, or do i just do that stuff after the baby's born?

pediatrician question
Is this ped affiliated with the hospital you are delivering? Our ped is and I called anyway asking how to set up new patient info. They told me after delivery the hospital will contact them.

If the ped makes rounds at the hospital you might just have to tell the hospital who you are using. They will contact the dr and the dr will see the baby within 24 hrs. But, I'd ask the ped office. Some people said the dr required you have an inteview, etc. And you want to check ins and wether or not they are taking new patients.
