Pediatrician Question
Hi ladies,
My dr. recommended a pediatrician for us, but I have no idea what to do for the next step. Do we set up an appt to meet with her? Ask her certain questions?
Please help

I called and asked what their policy is about meeting us, and they were able to squeeze us in. If the ped you chose do these routine talk with parents, they usually have a verbiage..
Emergency calls.. you or someone else
Thoughts on BF..
Vaccinations obviously..
Can I get a same day appt.
Are there partners.. male/female
Usually they run in by you.. sometimes the front desk will talk to you about this.. so the dr. is not tied up.

i had my first pediatrician "interview" last week and i just printed out the questions that i found on this site and the doctor was more than happy to answer them for me. When i called they said they have special prenatal visits so you can speak directly with the doctor.
ETA: One doc office i was told they only do prenatal visits in the afternoon, and are willing to answer any questions over the phone
