Pediatrician - when?
When should I start looking? I am 28 weeks.

I started looking now, at 25 weeks, only because I'm having twins and you just never know how early I will go. I would suggest to do your research now and just seek out at least two potentials. One dr was booked for consultations until July for Saturdays, so I ended up having to take time off from work, yet again, to meet him in a week on a Tues.
I just wanted one less stress so I'm doing it now. I only chose two - I live in West Islip where there are so many, but I picked one that came highly recommended on here, and a second that my friend, who does not settle for less than great, brings her children to.

I had my appt around 35 weeks, but I knew that I was using that pediatrician.

My hospital preregistration paperwork was due at 28 - 30 weeks and you had to put the pediatrician info on them. So I found one in the couple of weeks prior to that.

i think im gonna go with the one i went to as a kid but the only thing is that he dosnt have privlages at my hospital so im gonna have to bring her into the office as soon as we get out of the hospital.
