pediatric optomologist rec
My son is 23 months and he is always squinting. His doc suggested getting his eyes check. Can anyone recommend an optomologist that deals with kids that will not sit still
I live in Oceanside

Pediatric Opthalmic Consultants but they are based out of the City. I love Dr. Lisabeth Hall. They are fabulous!

Not sure where you are located- I took my 2 year old to see Dr. Stephen Kronwith in Mineola. He doesnt have the best adult personality but he was fabulous with ds and we were able to get all the tests done with virtually no issues.. and my ds never sits still by the way- Dr. Kronwith just kind of worked around it

pediatric optomologist rec
I take DD#1 and DS to Long Island Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus in plainview (there's also an office in NYC and pt Jefferson) they see Dr Levi but I know someone whose DS sees Dr. Marmor and likes him too.

We take DS to Bayshore Opt., Dr. Sandra Ahn-Lee. She is great with him and he doesn't mind going now, which is great! The only downside is that there is usually a long wait when we go for his appt. It really is so important to find someone who is good with kids, the first doc we went to a couple of times was not, his office was not child friendly and it was very clear to us that DS was not comfortable there!

I recommend him as well. I 1st took my DS there when he was only 6 days old. We've been back for 2 follow-ups. I felt he was very knowledgable and he was great with my DS even though he was so small.
