Pediatric Home Care Nurse needed
My DH's cousin had a very sick baby this summer. She was finally able to come home from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia recently, but his having a really hard time finding qualified pediatric nursing. There are 14 shifts to fill, and only has 3 covered. The family is taking turns caring for the baby, but they are getting wiped out. If anyone knows of a nurse who does home care and will work with a baby with a trach, please FM me. THe family is in desperate need of good nursing right now.

Does she live in NY? One of the posters on here is a NICU nurse and I am sure she has that experience. Not sure if she would be interested but you can FM JTK

I would suggest she contacts St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Bayside. They are a subacute facility (I worked there) and they are fabulous. But, they also run an agency for outpatient services, including speech, OT, PT, etc. I would think they would have nursing or could help her find someone. Best of luck to them!
