pediatric dermatolgist
Does anyone have a recommendation other then Dr Kristal & Hayman?
DS has a rash spreading on his face, and the earliest they can get me in is January 25th
preferably nassau
ETA - anyone ever see Dr Theodore Daly in Garden City? I can get an appt with him next week (found him through my insurance co though so would love to hear actual feedback)

I was going to suggest Kristal.
I use the Suffolk office but in a pinch I've used other derms in the office even though they're not specifically pediatric. I saw Korzenco once and Kaufmann once. Maybe you can get in sooner if you see another dr in the Nassau office & then you can always follow up with Hayman or Kristal if necessary.

I use the Suffolk office but in a pinch I've used other derms in the office even though they're not specifically pediatric. I saw Korzenco once and Kaufmann once. Maybe you can get in sooner if you see another dr in the Nassau office?
i told them i would see whoever can get me in first
they offered me to come in within the next 30 minutes,...but im already at work in the bronx and ds is home on LI  so i have to wait til the 25th

My son saw Dr. Paltzik in Williston Park and we were very happy (this after two other doctors failed to help his eczema.).

Dr Amy Slear at Belaray. She sees all but was great with my DS when he was 18 months. I liked her so much I started seeing her

I'd keep trying. They get cancellations and if it's an emergency they can fit you in.

I usually take my kids to my family dermatologist. He's great.
Dr Moskowitz in Mineola.
I have also seen dr Krystal, and while I like him, the wait time was horrendous. I will continue to see dr Moskowitz who is very accommodating and you get seen within minutes of signing in.

Depends when you go. I will only make a 1pm appt. the first appt when they get back from lunch. I'm the only one in the waiting room and I'm in and out in 15 minutes..with two kids. Of course when I come out the waiting room is full. I could never do that with a 2 year old and a 6 month old to entertain.
