To this day, my mom STILL raves about Dr. Kalenscher (on Broadway in Massapequa) even though all of us are grown up. His waiting room is separated into two smaller rooms (a room for sick patients and a room for everyone else), so that's really nice. He's very personable, his staff is great, and he takes patients the same day. The reason my mom liked him so much was because one of my siblings had a slew of health concerns, and Dr. K. made sure that she was placed with the best specialists; he always remembered to check in with my mom to see how she was doing. The only problem (and it's a big one) is that the wait in his office is ridiculously long since he's a single practitioner and takes on so many patients.
