peas
Are the little baby soft (out of the can) peas ok to give 1 yr. olds? I thought I remember my CPR instructor saying no peas cause they are small and they can get caught in the throat...but the ones I have are really soft and mushy and seem to be ok - so I am confused.

As long as they are soft and squished, but my son still chokes on them because of the skin, so I stay away from them unless I puree them

We give them to Alex all the time... as long as they are really soft. Some brands make them a little harder, and I try to avoid those.
