PCOS & Topamax
I was on another board and PCOSers were buzzing about Topamax. Has anyone here used it for PCOS related symptoms?

no sorry just for migraine issues, but you can not take it if you are pgnt so i had to go off of it.

What symptoms inparticular were they buzzing about? I know Topamax can help with decreasing hunger and is used for depression and sometimes seizures. Tx,

i was on Topamax for migraines back in October (it didn't help) and my neurologist made me swear left & right that we would not get pregnant due to issues with the meds. So I don't really see how it could be used to treat fertility related PCOS. Maybe if you were just trying to treat the PCOS but you would have to be using birth control to ensure that you DON'T get preg while on the med. Sorry
