PCOS & Egg quality
The doc mentioned to me that the reason for my miscarriage is likely chromosonal, and that for people with PCOS, the insulin can affect the egg quality (well, he explained it better, but I dont remember- something about mitochondria). We are still waiting for the results.
My next cycle will be another IUI, so we can't assess the egg quality like with IVF. He said there's no reason why I can't have a healthy pregnancy in the future, but of course I worry that my egg quality will affect any and all future pregnancies.
Does anybody have any experience or knowledge about this?

My Dr suspected that could have been the reason for my mc in May. After he did cd3 bloodwork and my fsh hormone came back good and because of my age he decided not to do further testing. I didn't even know pcos could affect egg quality until my Dr told me

dr B once mentioned that it is true and the easiest "fix" is metformin. Not only it helps with PCOS, there is something about eggs and little hairs on them. per dr B it improves egg quality as well.

before i went to RSofNY i was just given clomid for PCOS. got pregnant but mc - a hb was never detected. was put on 1000mg metformin to improve egg quality and got pregnant again but mc again - tested for autoimmune issues and found that i had a clotting disorder. had a hb the second pregnancy but mc later that week so I'm not sure if it was the egg quality or the clotting disorder that caused me to mc that time.
was put on metformin again, clomid and loveonx and my 2 boys are a result.
My RE said the metformin improves egg quality

He upped my metformin so hopefully the next time will not have the same result.
