Paypal Question
For anyone who has sold things using paypal for a credit card transaction, how long did it take for your account to be credited with the funds from the sale? I have a friend that is selling something, and the buyer only has a credit card, not cash. Not sure how this all works. Thanks!

Re: Paypal Question
As a seller - any funds sent are available immediately - doesn't matter if the buyer pays via CC or through bank account (instant transfer.)
However, if someone does pay via bank account as an e-check, it takes three - five days for the check to clear and post to the seller's account.

Re: Paypal Question
Does it cost anything for the paypal account to be set up by him? I'm trying to do the research on Paypal now, and I'm a little confused. Thank you for your help with this!!

him meaning the buyer or seller?
It is free for those buying and using paypal.
For sellers to accept payments - there's a fee for every transaction:
ie: Sell an item for $100, buyer sends $100 via paypal, and seller will receive approx $98.
