Party Help price quote

We were thinking of having a party in the summer and I'm sick of rushing around I called a company to set up, clean up etc serve....
She said $275 for first three hours then $75 for every hour after. It would be two to three helpers. Is that bad?

Re: Party Help price quote

That's about $30/per person/hr.

Seems a little steep to me.
If you were having the affair fully catered I really doubt the caterer would be paying the servers $30 an hr. After tips I i'd think the wait staff would walk away w/ $15 -20/hr.

Got any friends or children of freinds who work in food service? See if they wanna make some extra $$.

That price sounds fairly normal to me for catering. Most professionals (companies and individuals) are all around that same amount. If you are happy with that company, and want/need three helpers than I think it is fine. If not, I would suggest shopping around or hiring individuals/friends to do the work for you.

This is Long Island, so yeah, that sounds right to me price-wise for this area.
