Party for DS2?
DS1 will be 5 and has been going to school the last couple of years. He has a lot of friends from class. We also do play dates with at least 5 of them too. We also have our close friends who have kids the same age or older that the kids are all friendly with. For DS1's 5th birthday we are having his class and just a couple of close friends his age at a sports place. DS2 will be 3 in July. He just started going to a preschool twice a week, but I don't know all the kids too well. We have been invited to parties, but we can only go to one so far that's next month. Also, when he starts the camp at preschool he won't be with the same kids anyway. My friend's kids are a little older. I feel bad not throwing him a party, but I thought of doing a "family day" with my family, their cousins, grandparents, etc and go to the zoo or the beach or something. Think that's ok or would you still throw a party? Only thing is he'll be 3 and some stuff is too big and not sure if there would be a lot of kids. Did a bounce party for DS1 twice already. Maybe just having family and friends at the house and let them swim in the pool, grill or get catered? Thoughts?

Re: Party for DS2?
I would do a backyard/pool party for him. He deserves to have a special party too. Invite the family over and your close friends with kids.
