Party at LI Children's Museum

Has anyone been to a party at LICM? Looking for a place for my DD's upcoming 4th birthday and thought this might be a good option. Last year we did White Post so want to do something different this year.

If you've been to a party, what was the theme? Art? Music? What age? How was the Tot Spot (if the kids were there)?

Any info would be great! Thanks!

Re: Party at LI Children's Museum

We went to one in the fall. I thought it was nice! My only complaint was not enough time in the select rooms. For the party we went to we did the music room, the "communication area" and the bubble area.
THen they took us to the party area for pizza and cake. And as a bonus each party goer rec'd a buy one get one coupon and you can stay at the museum as long as you want that day.

Re: Party at LI Children's Museum

We had DS's there in November. It was AWESOME!!!

We did the Tot Spot one. Started off in the bubble room then went back into the room for a craft then played in the tot spot area, then went back into the room for pizza & cake. While we waited for the pizza/cake switch, they played music in the room so the kids could dance and brought out some music instruments. It was SO much fun and everyone kept telling us what a fun party it was.

I think the amount of time in each room was perfect for 2 year olds. The craft was perfect, Joey didn't want to stop making it.

The best part is that you and your guests can explore the rest of the museum for free after the party is over.

I thought it was great!!

We got the pizza and cake from there too.

ETA- my 4 year old nephew loved it too

I have been to 2 parties there, one for a 6 year old and one for 3 year old... I had a blast at both, my DD was only around for 1 of them, but she enjoyed it!!

I would totally have a party there...
